We explore the process of lone working, offering best practice guidance to lone workers.
Service Description
This lone working training will enable you to maintain safety whilst working without direct or close supervision or support out in the community, when visiting other people’s homes and working outside of normal hours. It is important to know the difference between working alone in public places and working alone in isolated settings. For example, people’s homes, events that involve pressure, community visits and social services interviews. In this training, we will cover: Assessing risks and preparing for a visit Travel and environment A guide to staying safe throughout your work activity How to reduce risks associated with lone working What to do following a lone working activity

Cancellation Policy
Booking Confirmation • Bookings must be made through our online booking system. • A booking is confirmed once payment is processed, and you receive a confirmation email. Payment • Full payment is required to secure your place in a class. • Payments can be made using the available methods on the booking page. Cancellation Policy • By You: To cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 12 hours’ notice for a full refund. If less than 12 hours’ notice is given, you will be charged 50% of booking fee. Rescheduling may be allowed at our discretion. • By Us: If we need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., tutor illness), you will be notified promptly. You can reschedule or receive a full refund. Rescheduling • To reschedule a class, please do so at least 12 hours before the scheduled start time. • Reschedules are subject to availability and may incur an additional charge. Late Arrivals • If you arrive more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, your booking may be cancelled, and no refund will be issued. No Shows • If you do not attend the class and fail to inform us, no refund will be offered. Class Duration • The duration of each class is one hour unless listed otherwise in the booking system. Please arrive on time, as classes will not be extended beyond the scheduled time. Participation • By booking a class, you agree to participate in the activities or lessons, following the tutor’s guidelines and World of Education policies. Class Content and Materials • Class materials provided are for personal use only and may not be shared or redistributed without permission. Age Requirements • Some classes have age restrictions.
