Service Description
Welcome to this exciting opportunity to enhance the support for ADHD and Autistic students in higher education. Our comprehensive online course, "Intermediate Supporting ADHD and Autistic Students in Higher Education" is designed to equip education staff, administrators, and support workers with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively support and accommodate ADHD and Autistic students in higher education settings. The course covers a wide range of topics, including ADHD and Autism awareness understanding the challenges faced by ADHD and ASC students, implementing inclusive teaching strategies, creating accessible learning environments, and providing appropriate academic and emotional support. With a focus on practical strategies and evidence-based approaches, this course aims to empower you to create a more inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students. By completing this course, you can: 1. Enhance the support services available to ADHD and Autistic students, leading to improved academic outcomes and overall student success. 2. Foster a more inclusive and welcoming environment that values diversity and promotes equal access to education for all students. 3. Empower faculty and staff with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively support students with neurodiverse learning needs. 4. Demonstrate your commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, which can enhance your reputation in your industry and role. This course is 80 CPD Credits. Cancellation Policy
Booking Confirmation • Bookings must be made through our online booking system. • A booking is confirmed once payment is processed, and you receive a confirmation email. Payment • Full payment is required to secure your place in a class. • Payments can be made using the available methods on the booking page. Cancellation Policy • By You: To cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 12 hours’ notice for a full refund. If less than 12 hours’ notice is given, you will be charged 50% of booking fee. Rescheduling may be allowed at our discretion. • By Us: If we need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., tutor illness), you will be notified promptly. You can reschedule or receive a full refund. Rescheduling • To reschedule a class, please do so at least 12 hours before the scheduled start time. • Reschedules are subject to availability and may incur an additional charge. Late Arrivals • If you arrive more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, your booking may be cancelled, and no refund will be issued. No Shows • If you do not attend the class and fail to inform us, no refund will be offered. Class Duration • The duration of each class is one hour unless listed otherwise in the booking system. Please arrive on time, as classes will not be extended beyond the scheduled time. Participation • By booking a class, you agree to participate in the activities or lessons, following the tutor’s guidelines and World of Education policies. Class Content and Materials • Class materials provided are for personal use only and may not be shared or redistributed without permission. Age Requirements • Some classes have age restrictions.
